Pilot projects
Thank you for your interest in the pilot phase of the Knowledge Transfer Programme. We’re excited about the pilots we’ve devised and look forward to working with engaged and imaginative people to realise them.
There are four pilots, each of which is outlined in a bit more detail on a separate page. We want to use these projects to shape a new conversation about the relationship between businesses and museums, libraries and archives.
The exchange programme takes a group of museum, archive and business staff through a series of workshops, each designed to help them understand more about each others’ worlds.
The modern local business library project offers four libraries the chance to develop and improve their service to businesses.
The information literacy programme equips librarians to help business people become more effective and critical handlers of information.
The innovation fund offers museum and archive staff a chance to develop and run a programme which benefits a business.
