Download Report

The first phase of the Knowledge Transfer Programme was an open-ended narrative enquiry into the relationship between the business world and that of museums, libraries and archives. By an iterative process of elaboration and refinement it gathered from all sides a sense of what is happening now, what ought to happen and why it does not. This yielded three documents:

MLALONDO_20573_FINDFindings

combines our summary and overview with a collection of verbatim comments, illustrations and examples. It is downloadable here as a 2.3MB pdf file, or print copies are available from Ellen Collins.

ktp_method_thumb Method

is a candid and discursive account of how the first phase of the project worked, what went well and what we would do differently next time. The download is a 560K pdf file.

MLALONDO_20573_PILOT Pilots

is a presentation of the pilot projects that emerged from workshops at the end of phase 1 and which will make up the bulk of phase 2. The download is a 480KB pdf file.

A discussion area has been created in which you are warmly encouraged to post your views, criticisms, ideas and corrections. The authors and owners of the report will all be active in the forum responding to and prompting conversation and we look forward to meeting you there.

You can also find preserved in the blog on this site some of the thinking that went on as the first phase was carried out, and the comments and responses it generated.
